Molex KK® system
The Molex KK® interconnect system can be used to build thousands of
different configurations.
This connector system provides a lot of polarization
characteristics to ensure correct insertion
in applications. KK® housing has offset plug access holes that
provide 180 ° polarization,
allowing both power and signal to pass through the same enclosure.
The connector can also
be inserted with optional polarization keys and pins to ensure that
the connector and the
housing are inserted in one direction only. In addition, the system
also has customizable KK®
connector, which can provide more polarity selection and design
configuration, such as plug
with invalid pin, custom pin length, bent PC solder tail and
various tin or gold plating options.
Molex compatible reflow process (RPC) plugs, including signal and
power series, can withstand
welding temperatures up to 260 ° C. The signal application KK® 254 connector provides up to
5A current and 250V voltage for each circuit in a 2.54 mm pitch
package. Power application
KK® 396 connector can provide 13A current and 600V voltage for each
circuit in a 3.96 mm
spacing package. KK® RPC plug is packaged in roll tape.
